A unique example of malachite after cuprite from Ogonja!!! This specimen consists of a pair of cuprite crystals that have been partially
altered to malachite and, in one small area, altered to native copper!!! In addition, there are some associated crystals of primary malachite as
well!!! There is actually a significant amount of gemmy cuprite within the specimen detectable by shining a bright white LED or similar device through one
area of the specimen!!! This specimen is quite fascinating in person!!! The pics hardly do it justice!!!
Good luck and be sure to check out my other exciting mineral auctions on ebay!!!
