Description/Interesting Notes:
A fantastic example of native copper with cuprite from the new find in Russia!!! This specimen consists
of a sharply crystallized example of native copper that hosts several sharp crystals of cuprite!!! The
copper has sharp, complex faces and a wonderful patina with brilliant luster!!! The cuprite crystals exhibit sharp octahedral form
with sharp faces and glassy luster!!! The most remarkable feature of this specimen are the several crystals of cuprite that exhibit pronounced
partial pseudomorphism to native copper!!! Upon close inspection the native copper is very well crystallized with sharply defined complex faces, however
there are also several areas that appear to be pseudomorphic replacement of cuprite as well!!! This specimen is in magnificent
condition and displays fantastically!!!
This specimen is way better than the pictures show, and is quite showy in person!!! The pics
don't even come close to doing it justice!!!
