Description/Interesting Notes: A rare example of cuprobismutite from the type locale in Colorado!!! This specimen hosts a rich showing of cuprobismutite in quartz matrix!!! The cuprobismutite is present as tiny, sivery grains richly distributed throughout the matrix as well as a few tiny vugs with complex, bladed crystals of cuprobismutite!!! This specimen has been x-rayed and confirmed according to the label!!! This is an outstanding type locale example of this rare species!!! This specimen is from the collection of Tony Nikischer and retains its original personal collection label as well!!!
