Description/Interesting Notes: An outstanding example of this rare and unusual species from Bolivia!!! This specimen consists of a showy grouping of intergrown cylindrite crystals!!! The cylindrite crystals have sharply defined characteristic cylindrical habits and bright metallic luster!!! Cylindrite is a very unique mineral species, as it is the only one that exhibits this most unusual habit!!! The largest crystal measures well over 3.5cm!!! This specimen retains a very old label that dates to the turn of the 20th century!!! Simply a magnificent example of this rare and unusual species!!! The pics hardly do it justice!!!
