Description/Interesting Notes: A rare example of datolite from Mexico!!! This specimen consists of a cluster of large, lustrous datolite crystals that exhibit a unique and characteristic blue-green coloration!!! The crytsals have complex, blocky habits with sharp, lustrous faces!!! The crystals have marked translucence and color that ranges from light green to light blue - a very unique hue in person!!! There are several pyrite crystals in association as well as a single tiny danburite crystal as well!!! These old time Charcas datolites are quite scarce and seldom seen on todays market!!! This uniquely colored specimen is in fantastic condition and displays magnificently in person!!! Way better than the pics show!!! The pics hardly do it justice!!!
