Description/Interesting Notes: A gorgeous example of demantoid garnet from Madagascar!!! These demantoid specimens from Madagascar made their way onto the market at the Saint Marie show last year, however there was still quite a buzz about them at this year's Tucson Show and it is easy to understand why!!! This speicmen consists of a cluster of sharp, gemmy, green demantoid crystals!!! The crystals are somewhat complex with sharp, lustrous faces and lively green color!!! It was difficult to capture the color in the pictures - they were done using full-spectrum fluorescent lighting, however the color is much better in person!!!
