Description/Interesting Notes: A fantastic example of demantoid garnet from this seldom referenced locality!!! This specimen hosts numerous sharp, pristine crystals of light green demantoid garnet on a bed of tiny, dark green chlorite crystals!!! The demantoid crystals have razor-sharp faces and terrific symmetry!!! They have bright glassy luster and a most stiking color zonation!!! The crystals have inner phantoms that dramatically outline each crystal face!!! The effect is just stunning!!! The pictures hardly do it justice!!!
