Description/Interesting Notes: A fantastic example of demantoid garnet from Canada!!! Let me start off by saying that these pictures do not capture the specimen's color at all!!! For some reason digital cameras have difficulty "seeing" certain colored gems - although these pictures show the garnet crystals as being a pale blue-green, they are a very lively mint to apple green in person!!! The color is WAY better than the pics show!!! The crystals have some highly complex faces and the largest crystal is actually a group of intergrown crystals!!! The crystals have brilliant glassy luster and gemmy clarity!!! Simply a gorgeous gem in person!!! The specimen is in terrific condition and is quite striking in person!!!
