Description/Interesting Notes:
A large and imressive example of devilline from Arizona!!! This is a MAJOR example of the species for Arizona!!! This is arguably one of the
best examples of devilline known from Arizona!!! This specimen hosts a broad face covered with complex rosettes, crusts, and clusters of turquoise colored
devilline!!! The devilline crystals have a pearly luster that is much more apparent in person!!! There are many areas where there are well formed
groups of devilline crystals that are thinly "capped" by another species (likely chrysocolla) as well!!! In addition to the devilline, there are numerous crystals of
bright royal blue azurite in association as well!!! The azurite crystals are sharp, gemmy, and brilliantly lustrous!!! There are also
several unidentified species in association as well - including numerous complex, colorless crystals of a somewhat tabular habit!!! Upon
close inspection there are several unidentified species in association!!! This is the appropriate matrix for several of the rare species
that occur at this locality which makes it a very interesting specimen indeed!!! Given its large size, there is a lot to check out and this specimen could
easily be trimmed into a small fortune of specimens!!! This specimen was originally collected decades ago
by Bob Hauck and was subsequently confirmed as devilline!!! Don't miss out on this rare and valuable opportunity!!! There is a LOT more going
on with this specimen than the pics show!!!
The pics hardly do it justice!!! Must be seen in person to be fully appreciated!!! Good luck and be sure to check out my other exciting mineral auctions on ebay!!! STAY TUNED!!! MORE AUCTIONS WILL BE ADDED SATURDAY NIGHT FOR A SPECIAL 5-DAY AUCTION, ENDING THURSDAY JUNE 9th!!!
