Description/Interesting Notes:
A unique, old time example of diamond from this classic locale!!! This specimen consists of a sharp, octahedral diamond
crystal that hosts an intense, orange colored inclusion!!! The crystal has some highly complex
growth features and brilliant glassy luster!!! The crystal has gemmy clarity and the lively orange inclusions are
gemmy as well!!! The crystal is complete and undamaged and displays fantastically in person!!! This specimen
is from a small suite of diamond crystals with unusual inclusions in the Mecke collection!!! In person the
inclusion makes for a very unique and showy specimen indeed!!! Must be seen in person to be fully appreciated!!! This specimen is from the
collection of Tony Nikischer!!! We just acquired the 6000+ specimen PERSONAL collection of Tony Nikischer and there are
going to be some very exciting minerals to come in the upcoming days and weeks!!! Prior to the Nikischer collection this
specimen was originally from the collection of Florence Mecke (acquired from the late 1930's until the 1970's) and was in a
small suite of diamond crystals that showed particularly unique or unusual features!!!
The pics hardly do it justice!!! Must be seen in person to be fully appreciated!!!
Good luck and be sure to check out my other exciting mineral auctions on ebay!!!
