Description/Interesting Notes:
A unique and unusual diamond crystal twin from this historic locale!!! This
specimen consists of a highly complex diamond crystal that shows dramatic twinning!!! The crystal is
complete and undamaged!!! The crystal is translucent grayish with brilliant luster and has an appearance
similar to a chysoberyl sixling!!! This specimen
is from an impressive suite of diamond crystals (within the Mecke Collection) that showed particularly unique, rare, or unusual
features!!!
The pics hardly do it justice!!! Must be seen in person to be fully appreciated!!! This specimen is from the collection of Tony
Nikischer!!! We just acquired the 6000+ specimen PERSONAL collection of Tony Nikischer and there are going to be some very
exciting minerals to come in the upcoming days and weeks!!! Prior to the Nikischer collection this specimen was originally
from the collection of Florence Mecke (acquired from the late 1930's until the 1970's)!!!
Good luck and be sure to check out my other exciting mineral auctions on ebay!!!
