Description/Interesting Notes:
A magnificent example of gem diamond from this historic locale!!! This specimen consists of a pristine, undamaged gem crystal that
exhibits a complexly modified cubo-octahedral habit with sharply defined yet perfectly smooth convex faces!!! The crystal has
flawless gem clarity and dramatic play of light in person!!! The crystal exhibits a unique slightly bluish-green smoky color that
is quite handsome in person!!! This specimen is from a suite of particularly unusual or unique diamond crystals within the Mecke collection!!!
A very impressive gem in person!!!
The pics hardly do it justice!!! Must be seen in person to be fully appreciated!!! This specimen is from the collection
of Tony Nikischer!!! We just acquired the 6000+ specimen PERSONAL collection of Tony Nikischer and there are going to be
some very exciting minerals to come in the upcoming days and weeks!!! Prior to the Nikischer collection this specimen was
originally from the collection of Florence Mecke (acquired from the late 1930's until the 1970's)!!!
Good luck and be sure to check out my other exciting mineral auctions on ebay!!!
STAY TUNED!!! MORE AUCTIONS WILL BE ADDED MONDAY NIGHT FOR A SPECIAL 3-DAY AUCTION, ENDING THURSDAY FEBRUARY 14th!!!
