Description/Interesting Notes: A fantastic example of this prized gem species from Venezuela!!! This specimen consists of a razor-sharp, GEM clear diamond crystal!!! The crystal exhibits classic octahedral form with very cool, complexly modified edges!!! The crystal has BRILLIANT luster, GEM clarity and dynamic, fiery play of light within!!! This specimen was actually set aside with a group of fancy colors, as it has a slight but discernable yellow-green color!!! The crystal is so sharp and brilliant that it already looks like a faceted gem!!! This crystal is complete and pristine all around!!! Simply magnificent in person!!! (Interestingly, the crystal faces are literally so sharp and flat that the faces that are touching the glass surface create an unusual rainbow-effect allowing one to see microns-thick triangular growth patterns on the crystal faces that are touching the glass surface! - you can see this in a few of the pics!)
