Description/Interesting Notes:
A very rare example of purplish pink diamond!!! This rare crystal has decidedly purplish pink hue
that is quite rich and lively!!!
The crystal is a pristine, complete octahedron with sharp, complexly stepped faces and brilliant luster!!!
This crystal came from the collection of a diamond merchant who accumulated a collection of rare colored diamonds
throughout the decades-long
course of his career!!! This specimen was one of just three examples he had found in all his years aggresively
pursuing these rare gems!!! This specimen was originally
reported as being from the Argyle Mine in Kimberly, West Australia and had been acquired during a trip to the region, however
it was later noted by a diamond expert that this specimen exhibits characteristic features of material from the Mir Pipe in Russia!!!
This is simply an amazing specimen in every regard!!! The pics hardly do it justice!!! Must be seen in person to be fully appreciated!!!
Don't miss out!!!
Good luck and be sure to check out my other exciting mineral auctions on ebay!!! STAY TUNED!!! MORE AUCTIONS WILL BE ADDED MONDAY NIGHT FOR A SPECIAL 3-DAY AUCTION, ENDING THURSDAY MAY 12th!!!
