Description/Interesting Notes:
A fantastic example of this famed gem species from Canada!!! This specimen consists of a sharp, complex
octahedral diamond crystal!!! The crystal is complete and undamaged
all around!!! This specimen is quite unique in person!!!
The crystal has a slight, sherry color and gem clarity throughout!!! The octahedral crystal has gem clarity and
complexly modified faces!!! What is quite intruiging about this specimen is that the faces have thin,
complex, raised layers that have a silky sheen within them!!! These unusual features serve as a partial "jacket" to the very gemmy
crystal within!!! Simply an outstanding example of the species from Canada!!! Not only is this a rather unique specimen, it is showy and
significant as well!!! This specimen retains a display vial with affixed label as well as an old label from David New!!!
The pics hardly do it justice!!! Must be seen in person to be fully appreciated!!! Good luck and be sure to check out my other exciting mineral auctions on ebay!!! STAY TUNED!!! MORE AUCTIONS WILL BE ADDED SATURDAY NIGHT FOR A SPECIAL 5-DAY AUCTION, ENDING THURSDAY JUNE 16th!!!
