Description/Interesting Notes: A fantastic example of this prized gem species from Venezuela!!! This specimen consists of a razor-sharp octahedral diamond crystal that has GEM clarity!!! The crystal has one corner that exhibits some stepped features however the rest of the crystal is a text-book perfect octahedron!!! Upon close examination with a loupe or scope one can see a few minute, dark green, translucent inclusions located just below the surface of the crystal (very interesting under the scope!)!!! Aside from these near-surface micro inclusions the crystal has pristine gem clarity!!! In person it has bright, fiery play of light and shows fantastic dispersion as well!!! The crystal is so sharp and brilliant that it already looks like a faceted gem!!! Simply magnificent in person!!! The pics hardly do it justice!!! Must be seen in person to be fully appreciated!!!
