Description/Interesting Notes:
A rare example of green diamond from Angola!!! This is a group of FIVE individual diamond crystals that exhibits a rare
green coloration!!! The crystals were part of a group that came from a collection of colored diamonds!!! This was a group of
crystals that all showed a defined green color and came from a specific deposit known to produce such specimens!!!
The five crystals exhibit a range of green hues from mint-green to olive green to yellowish green!!!
The color of the crystals was quite difficult to capture in the pictures - in person
the color appears to change from natural sunlight to incandescent lighting!!! In general, the colors seem to change from a more lively
green in sunlight (or full spectrum fluorescent) to a somewhat more olive green in incandescent light!!! Because some of these crystals
are so gemmy, and the faces are so broad, it also made capturing the color difficult!!! While all of these
crystals are quite fascinating in their own right, three of these crystals have gorgeous, rounded habits with intense luster and sharply defined faces!!! These
three crystals already flash like gems in their natural state - they are full of fire and brilliance!!!
One of the crystals has a complex, flattened habit with somewhat curvaceous faces and this crystal is quite gemmy as well!!! The
most complex crystal has a lively mint green color in person!!! This is a fantastic lot, and one you will not likely see again!!!
The pics don't even come close to doing them justice!!! Must be seen in person to be fully appreciated!!!
Good luck and be sure to check out my other exciting mineral auctions on ebay!!! STAY TUNED!!! MORE AUCTIONS WILL BE ADDED MONDAY NIGHT FOR A SPECIAL 3-DAY AUCTION, ENDING THURSDAY OCTOBER 27th!!!
