A fantastic example of this prized gem species from Venezuela!!! This specimen consists of a razor-sharp,
GEM diamond crystal!!! The crystal exhibits classic octahedral form and is complete and undamaged all
around!!! The crystal has brilliant luster, gemclarity and dynamic, fiery play of light within!!! The
crystal is so sharp and brilliant that it already looks like a faceted gem!!! The specimen
has a network of greenish, translucent inclusions that are isolated in an area just under the surface of certain faces -
in person they just give the specimen a slightly greenish hue (this specimen was actually from a small lot of colored and uniquely
hued diamonds)!!! Interestingly, this specimen shows some fluorescence under SW UV as well - however it is a fluorescent "phantom"
at the core of the specimen (with what appears to be a different habit or orientation)!!!
