Description/Interesting Notes:
A fantastic, very rare PURPLE diamond from Russia!!! This specimen consists of a sharp, octahedral
diamond crystal that exhibits incredible, rare purple color!!! The crystal has
razor sharp octahedral faces with highly complex features on their surfaces!!! The lines
on the crystal faces are curious, natural growth features!!! The
crystal has brilliant adamantine luster, gemmy clarity, and lively play of light within!!! The
crystal exhibits a fine and distinct purple color that grades to a slightly pinkish purple color in
some lighting!!! Diamonds with such color are extremely rare and highly sought after!!! The crystal is incomplete on
two corners, however it still displays stunningly as you can see!!! Simply incredible material!!!
The pics hardly do it justice!!! Must be seen in person to be fully appreciated!!!
This specimen is from the collection of Tony Nikischer!!! We just acquired
the 6000+ specimen PERSONAL collection of Tony Nikischer and there are going to be some very exciting
minerals to come in the upcoming days and weeks!!! Prior to the Nikischer collection this specimen was
originally from the collection of Florence Mecke (acquired from the late 1930's until the 1970's)!!!
Good luck and be sure to check out my other exciting mineral auctions on ebay!!! STAY TUNED!!! MORE AUCTIONS WILL BE ADDED MONDAY NIGHT FOR A SPECIAL 3-DAY AUCTION, ENDING THURSDAY DECEMBER 13th!!!
