Diamond with Pyrope Garnet inclusion Udachnaya Pipe, Daldyn, Daldyn-Alakit kimberlite field, Saha Republic, Siberia, Russia .47cm x .4cm x .34cm

Description/Interesting Notes: An incredible example of diamond that hosts two pyrope garnet crystals included within!!! This specimen consists of a complex, octahedral diamond crystal with a second smaller crystal in association!!! The diamond crystals is sharp, lustrous, and gemmy!!! The crystal has numerous complex features but is actually complete and free from damage!!! The crystal hosts two sharp, reddish purple, gem-clear crystals of pyrope garnet!!! The garnet crystals can be seen with the naked eye and there are a few other unknown inclusions as well!!! With any magnification with a loupe or scope the specimen is simply amazing!!! This crystal is much more brilliant, sharp, and gemmy than it appears in the pictures!!! Because it was so bright, gemmy, and difractive it was difficult to capture the inclusions with the camera - however I just have to say that the overall specimen is way better than the pics show!!! This specimen is complete and pristine with no damage whatsoever!!! The pics don't even come close to doing it justice!!!
