Description/Interesting Notes:
A rare and unusual diamond crystal twin from this historic locale!!! Not only does this specimen
exhibit a rare, doubly twinned habit, it also shows incredible yellow-green
color as well!!! In person the yellow-green color is much more pronounced and impressive!!! The crystal consists of
opposing, intergrown macle twins that exhibit sharp tabular triangular forms (this specimen was paired with the "Stary of David" twin
recently offered and technically exhibits the same complex twinning)!!!
The crystal is complete and undamaged with brilliant, adamantine luster!!! The crystal shows an even, gemmy translucence
and has intense, richly saturated, fancy yellow green color!!! This is an AMAZING example of this prized gem species!!!
Truly incredible, old time material - and from a classic locality as well!!! The pics hardly do it justice!!! Must be
seen in person to be fully appreciated!!! This specimen is from the collection of Tony Nikischer!!! We just acquired
the 6000+ specimen PERSONAL collection of Tony Nikischer and there are going to be some very exciting minerals to come
in the upcoming days and weeks!!! Prior to the Nikischer collection this specimen was originally from the collection of
Florence Mecke (acquired from the late 1930's until the 1970's)!!!
The pics hardly do it justice!!! Must be seen in person to be fully appreciated!!!
Good luck and be sure to check out my other exciting mineral auctions on ebay!!!
