Description/Interesting Notes: An incredible, old time example of this rare silver-bearing species from the co-type locale!!! This specimen hosts an impressive 4.5mm crystal of silvery metallic diaphorite prominently perched in a small vug in association with sphalerite, siderite, and quartz crystals!!! Significant, eye-visible crystals of diaphorite are very rare!!! This specimen is significantly sized for the species!!! The diaphorite crystal is complete and has sharply striated faces!!! Upon close inspection in person one can see a second, smaller crystal visible elsewhere in the vug as well!!! Rare old time material!!! The pics hardly do it justice!!! Must be seen in person to be fully appreciated!!! This specimen is from the collection of Tony Nikischer!!!
