A terrific example of diaspore from Chester!!! This specimen hosts a lustrous display of pale lavender diaspore crystals
in minor association with corundophyllite clinochlore and rutile!!! The main face of this specimen boasts an impressive
3.7cm crystal blade of lustrous diaspore!!! The remainder of the specimen hosts a complex network of intergrown, juxtaposed
blades of diaspore crystals!!! There are a few tiny, thin rutile crystals tucked amongst them and a coating of dark greenish
corundophyllite clinochlore on the reverse!!! Old material!!! The pics hardly do it justice!!!
