Description/Interesting Notes: A classic, old time example of diaspore from Massachusetts!!! This specimen's face is covered with long, broad crystals of pale lavender-gray diaspore in association with chlorite on a matrix of corundophilite, and emery!!! The diaspore crystals are present as long, lustrous blades that measure well over 3cm!!! This is old material from the Paterson Museum and retains an old label with F. McDaniel Collection notation as well!!! Classic material!!! The pics hardly do it justice!!! Must be seen in person to be fully appreciated!!!
