Description/Interesting Notes: A rare, old time example of digenite from Butte!!! This specimen hosts a group of highly complex crystals of digenite on a matrix of quartz points and pyrite!!! The digenite shows some highly complex crystal faces with attractive iridescent patina!!! There are numerous small, slightly iridescent pyrite crystals scattered about and there are several quartz crystals in association as well!!! The areas of crystalline digenite are quite complex, although upon close inspection one can see some characteristic features!!! Classic material!!! The pics hardly do it justice!!! Must be seen in person to be fully appreciated!!! This specimen is from the collection of Tony Nikischer and retains its original personal collection label!!!
