Description/Interesting Notes: A striking example of lime green diopside from Tanzania!!! This specimen is from a small find that produced these extraordinarily colored, gemmy diopside crystals!!! This specimen is complete and undamaged with razor sharp faces and bright, glassy luster!!! The crystal has gemmy clarity and absolutely gorgeous color!!! The color is quite characteristic and very showy in person!!! The crystal has very lively play of light within and is quite dynamic!!! There is some bright silvery graphite on one side of the crystal and, upon close inspection there are tiny chabazite crystals on the termination and near the base of the crystal!!!
