Diopside Ochsner-Rotkopf massif, Zemmgrund, Zillertal, Tyrol, Austria 5cm x 2.2cm x 2cm 1927

Description/Interesting Notes: A classic, old time example of diopside from Austria!!! This specimen consists of a complex, doubly terminated, crystal of diopside!!! This specimen shows characteristic parallel growth with complexly terminations on both ends!!! The crystal is sharp, lustrous, undamaged, and complete all around!!! The crystal has handsome deep green color and is way better than the pics show!!! This specimen has old affixed labels and a catalogue number from the Paterson Museum as well!!! The specimen is dated 1927!!! Classic material!!! The pics hardly do it justice!!! Must be seen in person to be fully appreciated!!!
