Description/Interesting Notes: A classic example of diopside from De Kalb, New York!!! This specimen consists of a sharply terminated crystal of mint green diopside!!! The crystal is complete, with one side consisting of numerous tiny, complex faces!!! The crystal has glassy luster and translucent to gemmy clarity!!! The pics hardly do it justice!!!
