Description/Interesting Notes:
An absolutely INCREDIBLE example of dioptase from this very rare locale!!! Examples of dioptase from this locale are
extremely rare (I have seen just two other examples)!!! The crystals are incredibly fine and showy and have a striking
hue that is quite characteristic!!! This specimen hosts a rich showing of
sharp, glassy, gemmy crystals of intensely colored dioptase crystals on a distinctive matrix!!!
The dioptase crystals have a intense green color with a slightly bluish hue that almost makes them look like a cross between spangolite and
dioptase!!! It is truly incredible material indeed!!! This specimen is in magnificent condition and displays stunningly in person - the
crystals are particularly bright in terms of their internal fire as well!!! In addition, there is a small area
that hosts a group of 1mm sized crystals of an unidentified jet-black mineral that look like text-book examples of paramelaconite (absolutely
a worthy candidate for further analysis)!!! This is truly incedible material that you will almost certainly never see again!!! Don't miss out!!!
The pics hardly do it justice!!! Must be seen in person to be fully appreciated!!! This specimen is from the collection of Tony Nikischer and retains its original personal collection label!!!
We just acquired the 6000+ specimen PERSONAL collection of Tony Nikischer
