Description/Interesting Notes: A fantastic, old time example of this rare species from the type locality in Mexico!!! This specimen consists of a sharp single crystal of bright orange-red durangite!!! These old time, type locality durangites were collected over 50 years ago and are seldom seen on today's market!!! This specimen came from a small group of durangite specimens recently re-discovered in an old collection!!! This specimen has sharp, lustrous faces with marked clarity and intense, showy orange-red color!!! You don't want to miss out on this rare opportunity - before this recent "discovery" these specimens were extremely difficult to obtain - and they soon will be again (from what I understand, these specimens have all already disappeared)!!!
