Description/Interesting Notes:
A magnificent example of native silver after dyscrasite from this historic locality!!! This specimen hosts a showy, three dimensional
network of native silver pseudomorphs after dyscrasite crystals!!! The pseudomorphs have a handsome, antique patina that increases toward
the crystals' periphery!!! The specimen is quite showy in person!!! The overall sharpness and detail of the crystals, as well as their
three-dimensionality, is much more dramatic in person!!! There is a significant showing of tiny but brilliant and razor-sharp crystals of
polybasite coating some of the crystals as well!!! This specimen is way better than the pics show!!! This specimen retains an old unattributed German label
as well!!!
The pics hardly do it justice!!! Must be seen in person to be fully appreciated!!!
Good luck and be sure to check out my other exciting mineral auctions on ebay!!! STAY TUNED!!! MORE AUCTIONS WILL BE ADDED SATURDAY NIGHT FOR A SPECIAL 5-DAY AUCTION, ENDING THURSDAY SEPTEMBER 1st!!!
