Description/Interesting Notes:
An old time example of dyscrasite from this historic Silver Mine in Germany!!! Let me start off by saying that this specimen is
way, WAY better than the pics show - in person it is immediately apparent that this specimen is loaded with crystalline
dyscrasite!!! This specimen consists of of large, highly complex, chunky, intergrown crystals of dyscrasite that
are mostly coated by sparkling silvery crystals of lollingite!!! There are numerous areas where there are
well defined crystals of dyscrasite that exhibit well defined hexagonal prismatic features!!! There are also some
very broad, thick portions of crystalline dyscrasite that have very broad crystalline faces partially coated by lollingite!!! There are some other
species in association as well, including some calcite, a couple small galena crystals, and some unidentified species (likely silver-bearing
species)!!! This is a KILLER specimen for the locality and is a valuable piece - the pics don't even come close to capturing just
how great this piece is!!! OLD material!!!
The pics hardly do it justice!!! Must be seen in person to be fully appreciated!!!
This specimen is from the collection of Tony Nikischer!!! We just acquired the 6000+ specimen PERSONAL collection of Tony Nikischer
and there are going to be some very exciting minerals to come in the upcoming days and weeks!!!
Good luck and be sure to check out my other exciting mineral auctions on ebay!!! STAY TUNED!!! MORE AUCTIONS WILL BE ADDED MONDAY NIGHT FOR A SPECIAL 3-DAY AUCTION, ENDING THURSDAY DECEMBER 27th!!!
