Description/Interesting Notes: A very rare example of effenbergerite from the type locality!!! One of the most exciting new finds at the Tucson show were these effenbergerite specimens from Wessels!!! These specimens came through Marshall Sussman and there were just a handful available - all of which basically disappeared before the show even began!!! Fine examples of this material are VERY rare indeed!!! This specimen hosts a rich showing of bright, royal blue effenbergerite in colorful association with purple sugilite!!! The effenbergerite is present on every side of this specimen and there are even areas of eye visible crystalline effenbergerite!!!
