A very rare example of effenbergerite from the type locality!!! One of the most exciting new finds at the Tucson show were these
effenbergerite specimens from Wessels!!! These specimens came through Marshall Sussman and there were just a handful available - all
of which basically disappeared before the show even began!!! Fine examples of this material are VERY rare indeed!!! This specimen
hosts an impressive showing of bright, royal blue effenbergerite richly distributed across its broad face!!! Not only is this a
rich showing of this very rare species, it is quite well crystallized as well!!! This specimen hosts numerous, lustrous, eye-visible
crystals of effenbergerite throughout the entire area of effenbergerite!!! The specimen hosts very well
crystallized material for the species - the pics don't even come close to doing it justice!!! These are
significant crystals - NOT "microcrystals"!!! This is a
very fine example of effenbergerite indeed!!! The color is a very intense and showy, electric royal blue in person!!!
This is a very valuable specimen - the very few effenbergerite specimens that had decent eye-visible crystals (there were only a handful) had
ridiculous price tags!!! You do not want to
miss out on this rare material - as it won't likely be seen again!!!
The pics hardly do it justice!!! Must be seen in person to be fully appreciated!!!
Good luck and be sure to check out my other exciting mineral auctions on ebay!!! STAY TUNED!!! MORE AUCTIONS WILL BE ADDED MONDAY NIGHT FOR A SPECIAL 3-DAY AUCTION, ENDING THURSDAY FEBRUARY 16th!!!
