Description/Interesting Notes: A classic example of elbaite tourmaline from the type locality - Elba Island!!! This specimen hosts a trio of elbaite crystals in association with orthoclase and quartz!!! The elbaite crystals have sharp, glassy faces and exhibit characteristic two-toned coloration!!! Two of the crystals show dark, near black color with colorless terminations and one of the crystals has a olive-green termination!!! The crystals range in size up to 1.5cm!!! Classic material!!! The pics hardly do it justice!!! Must be seen in person to be fully appreciated!!! This specimen is from the collection of Tony Nikischer!!!
