Elbaite Tourmaline Gillette Quarry, Haddam Neck, Haddam, Middlesex Co., Connecticut 3.7cm x .88m x .61cm collected in 1890's

Description/Interesting Notes: A classic, old time example of gem tourmaline from Connecticut!!! This specimen consists of a single, doubly terminated floater tourmaline crystal!!! This crystal has lively, rich green color, glassy luster, and gemmy clarity!!! This specimen is complete all around!!! One end of the crystal has an unusually tapered termination and the other has a highly complex termination!!! This specimen is absolutely gorgeous in person - very bright, intense and lively!!!
