Description/Interesting Notes:
A magnificent example of this rare species from Mont Saint-Hilaire!!! This specimen consists of a well formed pseudomorph of
elpidite after serandite!!! The serandite crystals have been completely replaced by a network of juxtaposed, intergrown
prismatic lathes of elpidite in association with a deep green, chlorite-group mineral!!! The overal form of
the serandite crystals has been quite well preserved and evidence of terminations are clearly discernable as well!!!
The elpidite crystals have marked luster and some slight translucence as well!!! This is a magnificent
example of this rare species indeed!!!
The pics hardly do it justice!!! Must be seen in person to be fully appreciated!!! This specimen is from the collection of
Tony Nikischer!!! We just acquired the 6000+ specimen
PERSONAL collection of Tony Nikischer and there are going to be some very exciting minerals to come in the upcoming
days and weeks!!!
Good luck and be sure to check out my other exciting mineral auctions on ebay!!!
