Description/Interesting Notes: An unusual and unique example of this famed gem species from North Carolina!!! This specimen consists of a transparent crystal of muscovite that hosts highly complex crystals of gem emerald included within its paper-thin layers!!! These are not just crystal cross-sections in muscovite, but individual groups of crystals that formed within the sheets of muscovite!!! Upon close inspection, one can see that these are slightly divergent sprays of intergrown emerald crystals!!! The color is a choice deep emerald green and the crystals have gem clarity!!!
