Description/Interesting Notes: A terrific example of emerald from this classic North Carolina locale!!! This specimen consists of single partial crystal of emerald on matrix in association with jet black crystals of schorl tourmaline!!! The emerald crystal measures 1cm and exhibits sharp hexagonal form with marked luster and rich emerald green color!!! Classic old time material!!! The pics hardly do it justice!!!
