Description/Interesting Notes: A classic example of emerald from Russia!!! This specimen hosts a rich grouping of complexly intergrown crystals of rich green emerald in association with massive calcite and biotite schist!!! As a the result of close contact with the biotite schist, the complexly intergrown crystals exhibit this unusual, rounded appearance!!! In person, the crystals have a unique sparkle that is the result of numerous minute yet lustrous faces oriented in all different directions!!! The crystals have impressive translucent clarity and handsome green color - this specimen is quite striking in person!!! This specimen is in fantastic condition and way better than the pics show!!!
