Description/Interesting Notes: A terrific, old time example of emerald from this historic locale!!! This specimen consists of a thick single crystal of emerald!!! The crystal has well defined faces with glassy luster and subtle, complex features caused by contact with biotite schist!!! The crystal exhibits impressive clarity and has handsome green color (the pics show it as slightly bluish, however it is undoubtedly green in person)!!! Although the crystal is not complete, it is still quite impressive in person!!! Way better than the pics show!!! Must be seen in person to be fully appreciated!!!
