Description/Interesting Notes: A fantastic, old time example of emerald from Colombia!!! This specimen came out of an old collection and hosts a particularly intense and lively group of complex emerald crystals in association with pyrite on a small amount of matrix!!! The emerald crystals are highly complex, featuring numerous oddly rounded and etched forms!!! The crystals have intense color that, for some reason looks bluish in these pics - please note that these crystals are bright emerald GREEN in person (not blue)!!! The crystals are lustrous and have marked clarity ranging from translucent to gemmy!!! This specimen has numerous curious and unusual characteristics in person!!! The pics hardly do it justice!!!
