Description/Interesting Notes: A classic example of emerald from North Carolina!!! This specimen hosts numerous areas of intensely colored emerald and black schorl tourmaline crystals in a quartz matrix!!! The emerald is present both as richly colored masses and crystalline sections!!! The color is choice and the clarity ranges from translucent to near gemmy in small areas!!!
