Description/Interesting Notes: A classic, old time example of enargite from Butte!!! This specimen consists of a tight cluster of sharp, lustrous enargite crystals in association with a small amount of microcrystalline quartz!!! This specimen was donated to the museum by F.W. McNair who was a one time president of the Michigan School of Mines!!! This specimen likely dates to the early 1900's or before!!! The picss hardly do it justice!!!
