Description/Interesting Notes:
A fantastic example of endlichite (arsenatian vanadinite) from Morocco!!! Morocco is well known
for its famous vanadinite specimens from Mibladen, however this is an unusual example of arsenatian vanadinite from a locality that is
hundreds of miles away!!! This specimen consists of a dense cluster of large, intergrown crystals of
arsenatian vanadinite (also known as "endlichite")!!! The crystals are sharp, doubly terminated, and have a unique tan color with
hints of reddish and/or greenish brown!!! The crystals have sharp details, marked luster, and range in size to over 2.6cm!!! The
specimen is comprised almost entirely of crystalline endlichite (it is basically a ball of crystals)!!! This specimen is
in magnificent condition and displays fantastically in person!!! Classic material!!!
The pics hardly do it justice!!! Must be seen in person to be fully appreciated!!! This specimen is from the collection of
Tony Nikischer!!! We just acquired the 6000+ specimen PERSONAL collection of Tony Nikischer and there are going to be
some very exciting minerals to come in the upcoming days and weeks!!!
Good luck and be sure to check out my other exciting mineral auctions on ebay!!!
