Description/Interesting Notes: A classic, old time example of barite from the Settlingstones Mine!!! This specimen dates back at least a century or more!!! This specimen consists of a striking cluster of thick, sharp, colorless blades of barite covering a shaply matrix!!! For an old time barite from the Settlingstones mine, this specimen has minimal damage and is in fantastic condition!!! The pics hardly do it justice!!! A magnificent old timer!!!
