Description/Interesting Notes: A classic example of epidote from this famed locale!!! This specimen consists of a stout, blocky crystal of epidote in association with a small amount of quartz in association!!! The epidote crystal has glassy luster and lots of dark green flashes within!!! The crystal has sharply defined faces and exhibits sharply defined twinning when viewed down the c-axis (on the termination)!!! Classic material!!! The pics hardly do it justice!!! Must be seen in person to be fully appreciated!!! This specimen is from the collection of Tony Nikischer!!!
