Epidote with Clinochlore Margone, Viu Valley, Torino Province, Piedmont, Italy 1.54cm x 1.24cm x 1.2cm

Description/Interesting Notes: A very rare example of YELLOW epidote from Italy!!! This specimen consists of a stout, single crystal of epidote in association with a small amount of greenish clinochlore and some smaller crystals of epidote!!! The epidote crystal has razor sharp faces with bright glassy luster, gemmy clarity, and rare golden yellow color!!! While I have seen yellowish green examples of epidote before, true yellow crystals of epidote are extremely rare indeed!!! The color is nothing short of exceptional in person!!! The crystal is quite fiery and dynamic as well!!! Simply amazing, RARE material!!! The pics hardly do it justice!!! Must be seen in person to be fully appreciated!!!
