Description/Interesting Notes:
A fantastic combination of epidote and diopside from Pakistan!!! This beauty consists of an aesthetic
pairing of gemmy, olive colored epidote crystals and deep green diopside crystals!!! The pics hardly do this specimen justice!!!
This specimen is in superb condition and is guaranteed to impress!!!
Wolfgang Pohl worked in the mining industry in Namibia in the 70s and 80s and was a prolific
collector and dealer during and after this time!!! He would make trips back and forth to his
native Germany trading specimens he had acquired in Africa for worldwide specimens!!! Pohl
was rather meticulous with his labeling and record keeping with most of the specimens in the
collection having catalogue numbers, label with info on locale, source/dealer info,
acquisition date, and any other relevant notes!!! However, the most interesting feature is
that most of the labels also had a small sketch of the specimen on the reverse side as well!!!
