Description/Interesting Notes: An old time example of epidote and orthoclase from New York City!!! This specimen hosts numerous green crystals of epidote and whitish crystals of orthoclase richly carpeting its broad face!!! Upon close inspection one can see that the epidote crystals are sharply formed, lustrous, and have handsome green color!!! Specimens from New York City localities are quite scarce and highly sought after!!! The pics hardly do it justice!!! Must be seen in person to be fully appreciated!!! This specimen is from the collection of Tony Nikischer!!! We just acquired the 6000+ specimen PERSONAL collection of Tony Nikischer and there are going to be some very exciting minerals to come in the upcoming days and weeks!!!
